Chief Executive Officer
Tim began his career in Bristol 1998, and has predominately focused on the Construction and Engineering sector. Holding a number of positions over his career Tim has an extensive understanding of leadership and business development. He has been responsible for the management and development of UK and International insurance portfolios with specific focus on broker distribution in the UK and Republic of Ireland as well as responsibility for delivering and developing MGA strategies for EU, Australia and South Africa.
A Chartered Director with over 45 years of insurance industry experience, Tim has previously held multiple director and non-executive director roles and currently holds directorships at several Lloyds and non-Lloyds insurance brokers and captive insurance companies in Guernsey. Tim’s extensive career includes roles as former Chair of the British Machinery Insurers Association and a committee member of the Insurance Institute of London Property Committee. His broad insurance experience spans the energy sector, professional indemnity, latent defects, liabilities, credit, and political risks and surety.
Alex began his career in 2014, a financial professional with unique expertise in finance function operations of Insurance Brokers and Underwriters. Previously a Manager at Deloitte Alex specialised in the delivery of audit services to insurance intermediaries in both London and the wider UK market. His past experiences have allowed him to develop an extensive understanding of key controls and processes vital to the successful running of a finance operation.
Lead Underwriter - Construction
With nearly 30 years’ experience gained in the Construction & Engineering Insurance industry, Andy is well versed in the London and the UK Market principles and practices. Working with High Net Worth Individuals to Blue Chip Construction Companies, Single Projects to Global Annual coverages, including some of the UK’s biggest Building Projects in recent years ie; Wembley Stadium, Stratford 2012 London Olympic Venues, Kings Cross Station, Glasgow Commonwealth Games, 100 Bishopsgate to name but a few. Specialties: Construction Insurance, (Works In Progress, Contractors Plant, Hired In Plant and Public Liability Insurance), Contract Conditions, Non Negligence Insurance, Delay in Start Up Insurance. Andy is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional combining extensive experience in client services with a strong background in UK Construction Insurance Underwriting.
Lead Underwriter - Terrorism & Sabotage
Becky started her Insurance career some 30 plus years ago as a Direct UK Property Underwriter at AXA. This developed into a Fac R/I Underwriting role as AXA became a lead market in the North American Facultative Marketplace. In 2002 Becky moved Stateside to New York to help rebuild the Aon Re Broking Operation and there she worked closely with the Aon Retail teams throughout the US on a variety of Captive and Fac R/I Broking placements for clients such as Disney, Northrop Grumman, Verizon and Morgan Stanley. This role enabled her to also develop significant market relationships with key reinsurers such as Everest, Swiss and Munich and also carriers such as AIG, ACE, AWAC, and Travelers to name but a few. Her involvement with West Coast accounts saw her relocate to Los Angeles to head up the property Fac operation for Aon Benfield in 2008.
After a brief stint at a Wholesaler, Mercator in LA Becky returned to New York to Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford in 2012. In 2014, Becky returned to the UK bringing extensive knowledge of reinsurance, retail and wholesale US Property business with her from her 12 years in the States. This secured her next role at Mapledown where she was the Senior Underwriter on a North American Property Facility and where she primarily developed a Worldwide Terrorism Facility.
After 5 years at Omnyy LLP, Becky has stepped into the new role of Lead Underwriter at Ensurance UK. Her role is to build, develop and market a Worldwide Terrorism Facility utilising the established platform at Ensurance both in the UK and Australia together with her extensive network of relationships within the US and London.
Her solid background of Underwriting and Broking both in the UK and the US has established Becky as an experienced, knowledgeable and recognised market individual with an entrepreneurial spirit for delivering in all aspects of any insurance role she sets her mind to.
Lead Underwriter - Casualty
With 30 years’ plus experience writing Casualty business in the London and regional markets. Julian held Senior underwriting and management positions at Zurich, Primary General, Ergo, Ecclesiastical, and Towergate before joining Ensurance. Julian has extensive knowledge of Employers’, Public and Products Liability covers and pricing.
Rob has over 30 years experience within the Engineering and Construction market, specialties include Contract Works and Contractors All Risks Insurance including supporting DSU, Liability and Existing Structures cover. Additionally high level experience in Computer insurance and Engineering insurance classes such as Engineering Business Interruption, Deterioration of Stock, Machinery Movement. Previous roles held at Allianz Engineering, Navigators and most recently HSB Engineering Insurance Limited
Brad started his career at Aon in 1997; with more than 22 years Insurance experience, of which 18 years are of trading UK and International Construction and Engineering business as a Lead Underwriter specifically within the London Market for Lead Insurance Companies.
Having held various underwriting, managerial and leadership positions at Allianz Global Risks, Chubb Insurance and at Canopius Syndicate where he was part of the Lloyds Construction Consortium. His experience includes trading of all major classes of Construction, Engineering and Plant risks for major international corporate clients. Individual major projects and client renewals. An Underwriting authority point for Global Branch offices. Strategic business planning and account portfolio ownership.
Before joining Ensurance UK in September 2019 Brad was an Engineering and Renewable Energy Senior Underwriter at Aviva.
Brad is an active representative at the London Engineering Group UK CAR market forum including providing technical support on various committees.
Senior Underwriter - Terrorism & Sabotage
Daniel began his career in 2000, a senior Insurance professional with unique expertise in all aspects of the London market, from Underwriting, Broking to Senior Technical work, with First-hand knowledge of the Terrorism market he has gained experience in maintaining and developing large portfolios of business, whilst also being in control of the delegated underwriting authority of binders, therefore providing him with a vast experience of BARS and Atlas as well as technical and premium processing via Xchanging, all of this has enabled him to become extensively networked across the London Insurance Market. Previously held roles held at, Lloyd and Partners, AAAIRB and Omnyy LLP.
Following University in the Midlands Clark moved to Manchester where he worked in retail management. His final role at Chisholm Hunter Diamond Merchants before deciding to take a leap into the Insurance world in 2008.
Having held various underwriting, managerial and leadership positions at RSA, and Tokio Marine Kiln. Before joining Ensurance UK in January 2020 Clark was the Regional Underwriting Manager at Tokio Marine Kiln.
A strong team player, Lauren has 10 years insurance experience including 8 years specialising in household risks. She has spent her whole career in the MGA sector and is experienced in delivering underwriting decisions within delegated underwriting authority whilst delivering a profitable result for capacity holders. Previous roles held at Plum Underwriting Limited.
Nick started his career at Allianz in 2000 as an office junior; after a few months was offered the role of Account Handler of the existing business department. In 2004 he decided that the world needed exploring joined the Royal Navy as a Warfare Specialist. In 2010 he then had a spell as a Fraud Investigator/ Claims Validator at Esure for personal lines home and motor. He returned to Allianz in 2011 holding several positions including underwriting, project managerial and leadership roles in the engineering and Construction division.
Before joining Ensurance UK in January 2020 Nick was an Underwriter on the Existing Business Insurance team working on the Northern and Midlands.
Underwriting and Operations Technician
A self-motivated and strong team player, whilst studying Criminology at University, Sasha handled a variety of challenging situations on a regular basis, both alone and as part of a wider team, utilising her strong interpersonal skills to reach effective solutions promptly.
After graduating Sasha travelled to Australia for six months before coming home via Vietnam, Bali and Thailand. This experience allowed her to learn about a number of inspiring cultures and enabled her to develop communication skills.
On returning to the UK Sasha worked for Enigma Employment to gain office experience before taking the leap into the Insurance world.
An excellent team player, Courtney has over 12 years insurance experience including several years specialising in Marine Cargo. She has spent her whole career in the insurance sector and is experienced in delivering high standard underwriting skills. Previous roles held at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Willis and Claimbase.
Jenna is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Ensurance UK Limited, bringing over 15 years of experience to the table working within multiple departments of large insurance organisations which include Claims Management Group Limited (CAPITA) and HSB Engineering Insurance Limited. Jenna’s career has mainly focused on looking after individuals within the Senior Management Teams with expertise in various areas of each organisation.
Business Development Manager
Alun has held various senior sales positions for HSB, AXA, Norwich Union (AVIVA) and Allianz Engineering, his expertise includes implementation of growth strategies and managing relationships with key partners. His career has mainly focused on London and the South East but in addition to this, over the past 3 years whilst at HSB Engineering Insurance Limited he has worked closely on International business, predominantly with Australian partners.

Ian has held various sales, management and leadership positions within the UK regional insurance market spending the last 17 years at ACE / Chubb. He specialises in the creation and delivery of profitable growth strategies through the intermediary channel with experience in a diverse range of insurance classes.
